| The Town of Farmington working with Wright Pierce Engineers (One of the countries top 100 engineering firms) on the design upgrade to their Wastewater treatment plant. General Contractor overseeing all phases of the upgrade was by Apex construction of Rochester, NH.
- Mechanical Solutions provided treatment systems including the Custom Conveyor Corp shaftless screws.
- One conveyor moves dewatered sludge up a 27 degree incline from the Westfalia centrifuge
- The Second shaftless screw conveyor takes sludge away for horizontal truck loading.
They have 14” diameter flights that are 25 ft long in a 17” SST trough capable of 200 cfh with 25% solids.
The discharge drops thru our supplied pneumatic operated slide gates that empty into the roll off trucks for disposal.
Options included were flushing connections, spiral flighting with 225 Brinnel hardness, two color trough liners that were ½” thick UHMWP, motion sensors, torque overloads and Nord gear reducer.
