Large 40 year old Patterson 24x20 Pumps being inspected for replacement with new high efficient Patterson Non Clog Pumps. Pump is rated for 8000 GPM at 65ft of head, 200HP - 705 RPM.
Deer Island WWTP
Patterson Horizontal Split Case Pump rated for 2500 GPM at 538 ft of head, 600HP being started up and tested by Steve Paglia of Mechanical & Pump Services Inc.on left and Ralph McDonough of Mechanical Solutions Inc on the right.
These pumps are absolutely huge!!!!

Steve and Jeff replaced (2) Grinder Pumps and made repairs to the control panel wiring.
They also repaired the pump removal system which was missing one section of rail and had no chain on the pumps.

New NEMA 3R Control Panel was installed with Soft Starters, Pressure Transducer Level Control, Back Up Float Switch Logic, Phone Dialer for Remote Indication of all Alarm Conditions and tied into the existing backup generator.
